I was commissioned to do some photos to showcase the shopping areas of Newcastle, so in between the snow and rain we've had over the last couple of weeks I managed to get out for a few hours last week to capture some images. Here's some of my favourites.

 

Jonah ~ Baby Shoot | Amanda Anastassiou Photography

I photographed Ross & Gillian's Wedding back in 2008 so it was a pleasure to catch up with them when they asked me to take some photos of the new addition to the family, baby Jonah. It's always great to watch families grow over the years and it's such a treat to be invited back time and time again. Jonah is just sooo cute and adorable and I love his little outfit and braces, very trendy! He is at that lovely age where he sitting up and smiling but not yet crawling (so it didn't mean I had to chase after him with the camera). Here's some of my favourites from the shoot... Clare & Adrian ~ Wedding Day | Amanda Anastassiou Photography

I photographed Clare and Adrian's Wedding at the end of September and just wanted to post a selection of my favourite photos that showcase what a fab and beautiful day their Wedding was, Clare looked amazing in her Wedding dress and was the perfect bride. It was a great pleasure to be part of their relaxed day and I enjoyed celebrating their marriage with them and even hitting the dance floor myself! Congratulations to both of you again and hope your first Christmas as Mr and Mrs was fantastic :o) 

 

Athena ~ Secret Shoot | Amanda Anastassiou Photography

First of all, Happy New Year to everyone, I hope you have all had a great start to 2013!

Here's some photos that I have have been wanting to share since I took them back in November but I couldn't as they were for a Christmas present. The photo shoot is of my gorgeous little niece Athena and was a secret shoot I did as a surprise for my sister and brother in law. I did them a lovely story book album which I'm sure they will treasure forever. I'm just lucky Athena wasn't a bit older as she may have blown the secret. The shoot couldn't have gone more perfect, the late winter sun was out, we had leaves in the park, Athena was enjoying playing and with a little help from Nana & Papou (Greek for Grandad) I was able to capture some really natural moments of her playing that are now frozen in time to view when ever we want. I think we all had so much fun, it was hard to pick my favourites but here are a few of them....

If anyone is interested in a toddler shoot like this then please give me a shout, they grow up so fast it is great to have images that capture them at this fantastic time.
